The first example of the record-breaking Aspark Owl is heading to an online auction, allowing enthusiasts and collectors to own one of the most intriguing electric hypercars in the market.
It has been roughly seven years since the Owl was first unveiled to the world. The small company has said it will build 50 examples for customers and late last year, confirmed that development had finished and it was now ready to begin deliveries. It is unclear how many have been delivered but anyone who places an order now will have to wait at least a year to get the keys. Or, they could place a bid on this Owl and take delivery immediately.

The EV has been listed up for auction through SBX Cars. Little information has been provided about this particular Owl, other than the fact that it has some mild cosmetic flaws. In addition, there is no mention of how many miles it has under its belt.
Driving the Owl are four electric motors that combine for an extraordinary 1,985 hp and 1,475 lb-ft (2,000 Nm) of torque. These motors receive their juice from a 64 kWh battery pack. The car can hit 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 1.7 seconds and has a claimed top speed of 249 mph (400 km/h).
Given that the Owl comes from a startup, it looks to be relatively well-built and the cabin is surprisingly well-appointed. There are carbon fiber-backed racing seats clad in black and yellow leather, the car has Sparco racing harnesses, there is plenty of carbon fiber, a digital instrument cluster, digital mirrors, and a central infotainment display.
The online auction will launch on April 18.
